Waxing has been around for thousands of years. It may be done on any area of the body, male or female, except a non-balding head.

Does it hurt?
It hurts the most, the first time. This is because it is surprising to have your hair collectively removed. Your second appointment must be within four weeks and then the discomfort will be greatly reduced. Each appointment gets easier. It is very important that you purchase a loofah mitt and use it from neck down in the shower. This helps to prevent in-grown hairs and will keep your skin nice and soft.

Will it make my hair grow back thicker or stronger?
If we could stimulate hair growth there would be no bald men. We start to shave at an early age. As we get older our hair naturally comes in thicker and we attribute it to having shaved. Waxing, shaving, tweezing and electrolysis never stimulates hair growth!

How long does my hair have to be and how long will I be hairless after waxing?
Three weeks outgrowth is recommended for the best results. This is hard at the beginning, but if you come in monthly for your wax appointments and don't shave in between, you'll love the results. You will be hairless and smooth.

Why should I wax and not shave?
On a shaved area you can feel the stubble the next day because the hair has been blunt cut and keeps growing. A waxed hair is very fine at the tip, so when it starts to grow, it feels very soft, not stubby. What makes waxing so superior to shaving is the fact that you will never have stubble again as long as you wax every month. A properly waxed area remains quite hair free and soft between treatments. Your bikini will never itch again!

Rules For Waxing

• Prices vary depending on the amount of hair being removed and size of area being waxed.
• No direct sun for 12 hours.
• No deodorant for 12 hours.
• No sauna for 12 hours after hair is removed.
• No sun block or sun-screen on any areas that will be exposed after waxing!
• No tanning before or after waxing that day.
• No shaving, tweezing, or using depilatory creams in-between services.
